Travel and Entry Requirements

  • The following are allowed to enter the Philippines:
    • Filipino nationals

    • Foreign nationals with valid visa and the principal Philippine national is in the Philippines:

      • Foreign legal spouses of Filipino nationals

      • Foreign minor children, and foreign children with special needs regardless of age, of Filipino nationals

      • Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs regardless of age

    • Foreign nationals with the following visas:

      • 9(e) visa holders - diplomats accredited to the Philippines including foreign embassies and Foreign Government and International Organization Officials

      • Foreign Airline Crew

      • 9(c) visa holders - Foreign Seafarer visa for ship crew rotation

      • 9(d) visa holders - Treaty trade visa (US, Japan and Germany)

      • Section 13 Series of Commonwealth Act: 13 quota, 13A, 13B, 13C, 13D, 13E, 13G visas

      • RA7919 visa holders - granted to qualified foreign nationals who entered the Philippines before January 01 1984

      • Native Born (NB) visa holders

      • Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) holders

      • MCL-07-021 Permanent Resident visa holders

      • 9(g) visa holders (with valid ACR I-card and ECC-SRC (Special Return Certificate)) who departed the Philippines on December 17, 2020 or later. Those left before December 17, 2020 shall also be allowed entry provided they present an approved and valid endorsement from DFA.

      • 47 (a) (2) visa holders

      • Visas issued by Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan, Cagayan Economic Zone Authority, Clark Development Corporation

      • Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV) issued by the Bureau of Immigration under Executive Order No. 226 but not under EO 63;

      • Holders of Recognition Certificate (RC) or Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition Act of 2003 (CRPC) under RA9225 Certificate

      • RA8756 visa holders - Regional Office Headquarters (ROHQ) visa, intended for executive positions for multinational companies

    • Balikbayan Privilege (RA6768) (only nationals from non-visa required counties under EO408):
      • Filipino citizens' foreign spouses and children, regardless of age, who are travelling with them

      • Former Filipino citizens, together with their foreign spouses and children regardless of age, who are travelling with them

  • Subject to maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry.

  • Domestic travel requires RT-PCR COVID-19 and other mandatory protocols depending on each province, city or municipality.

  • Metro Manila is still under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). Community quarantine measures may differ on each province.

  • Filipinos are now allowed to leave Philippines for non-essential travel subject to certain conditions.

Quarantine and Health Requirements

  • Must have a pre-booked accommodation for at least 7 nights in an accredited quarantine hotel/facility.
  • Undergo RT-PCR COVID-19 testing at the quarantine hotel/facility on the sixth (6th) day from date of arrival in the Philippines.

  • Required to complete the 14-day quarantine or self-isolation once tested negative and released from quarantine.

  • Subject to other applicable quarantine and isolation protocols as prescribed by the Department of Health.
